Review

This is probably the best book on creating fairies that I've seen. Ravenscroft not only covers everything, but offers traceable elements for beginners to get their feet wet with, including facial features and mix-and-match wardrobes and wings to help build the artist's confidence and skill level. That's not to say that advanced artists won't get anything out of this book - anyone with an interest in drawing or painting fairies, rank amateur to veteran professional, should enjoy it.
