Review
This is an adequate book in the text department, but I found the drawn illustrations unhelpful in visualizing the real breeds. I prefer photo guides. The cat care section is okay, but it seems a bit outdated in portions. The Britishness of this book, from breed standards to cat care, is also prominent, and as an American I find it unhelpful at best and distracting at worst. If you have to have a breed guide and can't find anything else, this book will help, but quite frankly I'd hold out for better.
