Another quick picture book read during down time at work... This is a quick, fun, cozy little tale told in lyrical prose and imaginative illustrations. Inevitably, of course, girl and dragon meet, becoming best friends. Not much of a plot, perhaps, but that's not really the point of picture books like this. It's about the flow of words and the idea of making friends with a dragon, an idea that still holds appeal to some of us whose childhood bedtime story days are long behind us.
