Review

Why am I reviewing cat care manuals? Anyone who owns cats - or any animal - is aware of the plethora of books on the subject that line the shelves. Most of them tend to run together, being little to no help when you actually need them. This is my attempt to help other cat-lovers before they're frantically pulling apart their bookshelves in a time of crisis.
This is one of the best, most immediately useful cat care books I own. The section on feline disorders and diseases, with clear descriptions of danger signs and what to ask the vet, is a great plus. A quick-reference flow chart of feline problems helps the distraught owner pin down the problem, and whether Fluffy needs to be rushed to the vet or just needs some Petromalt to help with a hairball. Nice pictures and clearly labeled sections are a great help when you're searching for one particular thing in a hurry - believe me! Cat owners are well advised to have a copy of this book in their feline care library.
