Review
Carlson's books are among my favorite sculpting books. They're easy to follow, for one thing, as she shows clear pictures of all her clays, tools, and steps. They also tend to be cumulative, with later projects in a given book building upon lessons learned in earlier projects. Last but not least, they're just plain fun to look at! I've used her instructions previously to excellent results, and if I followed her advice more often I'm sure I'd be a lot further along in my sculpting skills. (As it is, my budget and workspace only allow for Paperclay and Apoxie.)
