On September 3, 2006, word came down the wire that Steve
Irwin, world-renowned wildlife advocate, had been killed. He died as
he lived, working to protect the animals he loved. Irwin's enthusiam
showed in everything he did, changing the face of nature shows and
conservancy from stuffy old documentaries to up-close-and-personal
encounters with some of Nature's most dangerous and misunderstood
denizens. His shows and specials attracted countless viewers around
the world, awakening them to the wonders of wildlife and the urgent need
to protect our planet.
These memorial
"cards" were created to commemorate his efforts on behalf of
wildlife. Take them as you wish;
