DESCRIPTION: With pictures and articles, this book explores the fascinating world of cats, big and small.
REVIEW: I found this on the discount shelf at Borders, so I had to add it to my collection. It's an excellent book to page through, reading here and there, or just looking at the marvelous pictures. It may be difficult to read cover-to-cover, but this kind of book isn't intended for that sort of reading, anyway. It's more of a "coffee table" book, for paging through and picking parts out of leisure. This book covers some material I haven't seen in my other "coffee table" cat books, including a section on man-eaters and more in-depth looks at genetic stagnation and why lions seem to fare better in prides. An informative, beautifully-composed book that is sure to be a hit with cat-lovers!
