Dragons - Truth, Myth and Legend
David Passes
David Bennett Books
Fiction, YA Fantasy/Folklore
****

DESCRIPTION: Various myths and stories of dragons from around the world are summarized and retold in this book, along with some facts and information on dragon-like beings from many cultures. Illustrated by Wayne Anderson.

REVIEW: Another one picked up mainly for associations with my collections (dragons in this case), this is good introduction to various dragon myths, with some I hadn't seen before. Wayne Anderson's illustrations are lovely, as well. The lack of depth is what prevented it from earning another star.
