Star Cats: A Feline Zodiac
Lesley Ann Ivory
Bulfinch
Nonfiction, YA? Picture Book
****

DESCRIPTION: The famed feline artist depicts each sign of the zodiac with feline representatives.

REVIEW: Originally, this thin hardcover book was 17 dollars, which is way too much. I found it on clearance for five, and snapped it up. Ivory's beautiful, detailed images are the main draw. The astrological information is vague and incidental. I must also say that knowing the names of the cats she paints takes a bit of the charm out of them... those poor cats...
